Danielle Hernandez
With a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food from California State University Sacramento, Danielle has been working as a nutritionist and certified personal trainer. She believes that proper nutrition and regular exercise are the foundation for mastering the art of a lifestyle change.

Danielle actively practices all of the principles she teaches her clients. With hard work and dedication, her methods produce results, habits and behaviors that last a lifetime. She’s dedicated to creating a personalized program tailored to the needs of each individual. She strives to provide an environment where her clients feel comfortable and have fun, but at the same time push their limits, progress and go beyond even their own expectations.


Layla Flower







Layla is a graduate of Bauman College of Nutrition in Berkeley, California and an ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer. Helping people create better health through nutrition and fitness since 1998, she has worked in corporate wellness creating fitness, nutrition and diet plans for employees to enhance work performance, lose weight and improve overall health. She has also worked with individuals, groups and communities to educate and empower people to create healthier eating patterns, to exercise in fun and effective ways and to reduce stress through mediation and mindfulness.

Her love of nutrition and health comes from her own experience of managing Crohn’s Disease since the age of 17. With the help of a nutritionist and her own diligence, she was able to regain her health. Layla knows first hand the amazing results a healthy diet, regular exercise and balanced life can have. Her goal is to help as many people as she can create their best health in manageable, effective and enjoyable ways.



Jan Gahagan
Jan is a National Academy of Sport Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and American Council on Exercise Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant certification candidate. She has worked with clients to achieve weight loss goals, improve lifestyle and progress their fitness, in some cases, to the competition level. Jan sees the mind/body connection clearly since having lost 140 pounds herself. She views her role with clients as a partnership and focuses on motivating and building success.

She has incorporated her passion for fitness in her personal training, working with corporate wellness departments to bring nutrition counseling programs on site, as well as with one-on-one client relationships.  Jan also participates in events including the Rock and Roll half marathon where she ran to raise funds and awareness for The Childrens’ Tumor Foundation, open water triathalon training and in designing her Hike Fit cardio endurance program. Based on her experience in Physical Therapy, she adapts fitness programs for clients who are returning to personal training after surgery or injury.



Leslie Barrett
Leslie was formerly at Harvard Medical School in the Transplantation Research Department. As an experienced research scientist, Leslie has presented papers and lectured in China while researching the integration of Western and Eastern wellness. She established a Joint Venture between US China Medical Company and Tongji Medical University to collaborate with Duke University, Sara Stedman Nutritional Center. The project was designed to establish Wellness programs in China modeled after the Stedman Center’s clinical curriculum.

As a Lifestyle Coach, Leslie offers behavior modification education, including nutritional, exercise and stress reduction strategies to individuals and groups looking to improve their wellness and preventing the onset of disease. She offers her services to better understand your individual challenges. Leslie guides you to achieve your full health potential through a program you can live with.
