Rock on the Green
Stride a little. Ride a little. Help a lot.3-hour Spin-a-thon and 5k & 2k Walk
Saturday, September 12th, 9am–2pm
Marina Green, San Francisco
Join the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) for an inspiring three hour Spinning® ride or 5K and 2K family fun walks on the majestic Marina Green overlooking the San Francisco Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. The three-hour ride features choreographed cycling sessions led by special guest instructors, the return of Johnny G (the creator of Spinning and Kranking®) and special presentations from the CAF. The energy will amaze and inspire you!
The Foundation:
Funds raised at Rock on the Green benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF). CAF raises money to help people with physical challenges pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and athletics. CAF’s mission is clear: give those with the desire to live active, competitive lifestyles every opportunity to compete in the sports they love.
Registration:
Register online at www.rockonthegreen.com. Spin-a-thon participants must raise a minimum of $300 and will receive a custom cycling jersey and a goody bag full of great gear. Registration fee for Fun Walk is $20 for 2–18 year olds and $30 for adults before August 31. After August 31, registration fee is $25 and $35, respectively. All walkers are welcome and encouraged to fundraise too! CAF makes fundraising easy by providing your very own online fundraising webpage along with fundraising kit, motivational emails and support from CAF staff.
